For some companies, particularly in areas where a significant portion of revenues is received in dollars and most costs are in pesos, such as the fruit industry, the trend has been positive.<\/p>\n<p>Rodrigo Donoso, a partner at the consulting firm Agrocapital, argues that the rise in the dollar is due to several factors. Firstly, there is a speculative component; additionally, the external strength of the dollar plays an important role.
