Agricultural Engineer graduated from Universidad Mayor, Master In Administration of Agriculture, Livestock and Forestry Companies at the same institution.
He worked in credit risks of agricultural companies at Banco del Estado. Between 2011 and 2014 he worked as advisor for the ministerial cabinet of the Ministry of Agriculture in issues related to agricultural financing, market transparency and competitiveness.
Business Engineer graduated from Universidad Diego Portales.
He worked in the local banking industry and for more than 25 years he has been delivering domestic and international financing solutions to Chilean companies. He has worked as representative of American banks in Chile. At current he is engaged as advisor, counsellor and director of companies.
Civil Engineer graduated from Universidad de Chile, MBA (Loyola College, Maryland, USA), MBL (Universidad Católica, Chile) MAE (Georgetown University, USA).

Among the positions he has held are Corporate Finance Management of Gasco S.A., General Management of Leasing Andino S.A., Regional Manager of Banco de Chile, among others.
Agricultural Technician. Former Minister of Agriculture. For 16 years he was member of the lower chamber for an area in the Araucanía Region and, during such time, he was a member of the Agricultural, Treasury and Economics Commissions. Between March 2010 and December 2011 he was appointed as State Minister. In his academic and business career he has stand out as an agricultural entrepreneur and director of companies, such as TVN, Chairman of Cotrisa S.A., Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Universidad Autónoma de Chile, Director of Bosques Cautín and Director of the SNA, among other activities.
